soulweaver32 Posts count: 3 | So I got the client, and I got it to patch and I can start the game up but everything is still in Korean. When I try to run applocale it says my computer does not support the language. When I try to download the korean language pact it says I fail the validation because I do not have windows office. Windows office is like 100 dollars. A bit much to spend for this game >< Is there a work around here? I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance. About a day and a half work getting just this far, lol. Wish me luck! So close! |

soulweaver32 Posts count: 3 | Oh okay.. No applocale then but I still need the korean language pact, uh? Any idea how I can get it? Since the microsoft site doesn't let me get it and I tried other places that give me a file called ie_ko but that does not seem to work. Wait.. When I start it up I am seeing Korean characters I think. Does that mean my error is now with the translation files placement or something along those lines? |

miria Posts count: 145 | you should have installed the asian language pack. check this to install and insert your windows XP installer to your CD-rom. after you installed it. then there wont be any conflicts with the languages. you cant play RO2 if you dont install the asian language pack. |

soulweaver32 Posts count: 3 | Just to help out anyone else with the same problem as I. If you download the one you find on the internet (via google) applocale still won't work. And doing what everyone says does not work, (since I do not have the cd ><) but just manually dragging each file from the translated folder to the original copy folder makes it work. You cannot just cut the folder and paste it. You cannot even copy multiple files and paste. Each one by hand. Then when you run it, it will work. I got to play last night. Fun stuff I must admit. I am on the server that people say most english speakers go to. Fun times. |
