that's sad... really sad... you can't open the boxes if you haven't talked to the NPC you meet on your way right before the boxes. talk to him, then try opening one box. you right-click the box, then click on the scroll that's inside the box. but really... man... that's just sad... |

Actually I did get stuck on this when I first came across it. But yea you have to speak to someone first.. or even look on the quest board. |
