    Kalma1 Posts count: 1 Hey I've been looking for a MMORPG to play, and I keep hearing about Ragnarok Online.

    I was surfing about it and I hear there is a sequel!

    On the website they say they want the game out in english, so does that mean i cant play yet if i dont speak a second language?

    Also, if i do play, will i be disadvantaged from not playing the original one.

    And do ppl play late at night, early morning (that's when i normally play, cus I live in a different time zone +10)

    Listen Kalma1, Ragnarok Online 2 (RO2) is the sequel of one of the most popular game developed by Gravity, Ragnarok Online (RO). The main diference between this two games are:
    --RO it's played in 3D world with 2D sprites and RO2 it's fully 3D
    --The diferent time where the games ocurre having diferent histories, but based in the
    Nordic Mythology the two of them.
    --The lifetime of the games. RO appear almost 6 years ago and RO2 It's still in Beta
    phase; it hasn't been released yet, there are just Beta Servers.
    --The jobs. Since RO have more time since it was released, It have more classes and
    variations, like the second-class jobs.
    --Some variations in the gameplay.
    this are some of the difference, not to list them all.

    Ragnarok Online 2 is still in Beta Phase, as I said before. So, It only have Beta servers in Korea. But, you can look for guides in this forum to know how to play in them :3
    I think Gravity will do a lot of servers all over the world (Like it did with RO). Be patient and maybe there will be one near to you.

    About play RO2 without have played RO:
    Well, you will just not notice some details that appear in the previous game (Like the classic: "OH! LOOK, A PORING IN 3D!! XD"), but you will get used to them very quickly. In fact, there are some features that are specially of this game and didn't appeared in the previous one.

    About the time when the poeple play:
    Well, since RO2 is know worldwide (It could sound exagerated, but it's true) there are always people playing it! You can play at any time of the day and you will find always, at least, one person who is there to help you, someone to talk or simply to mess around =P
