| toasty Posts count: 4 | Basically I'm looking for a modified version of the client that has hackshield disabled, and has packet encryption disabled. The only versions I can find are aged versions from Febuary. Sucks really. I'm also looking for a way to decode/decrypt the CNI files in the system directory and the save files in the My Documents directory (they contain settings such as default controls, video settings, etc. More than what the current GUI allows you to change). I'm tired of having the joystick feature not enabled (I want to play with my PS2 controller), and I want more control over configuring my game settings. As far as having hackshield disabled, well, it's just pissing me off to no end. Even having something like process explorer up will set of the hackshield cheat detection and kick me from the game. Quite annoying. By the far the worst anti-cheat detection I've ever seen. |

| DemonStrate Posts count: 12 | Thank you for at least looking into this. I, too, have tried to use my joypad (ps2 controller also) and i have tried to use other programs like Joy2Key and Xpadder, but they always get me kicked out of the game from HS. Do you know if there is a joystick interface in the game? I have had no luck in setting up special buttons either (mouse buttons 4 and 5). Also, they have the auto-walk button as center mouse click, but if i try to bind that to some other command, i cant. It wont recognize shift, ctrl or alt either. Id love to just be able to use my PS2 controller, so i can TV output and play on my couch. Can anyone hex edit those save files? That would help alot. |

| DemonStrate Posts count: 12 | Eh, i just looked at it, and its encrypted. Great, so i have no idea how to change the settings in it. I cannot find any information on the .cav file type either. |
