| Kich867 Posts count: 25 | While not exactly the same thing, I am having a similar problem. The game is entirely updated, though upon pushing "Game Start" it says, "Failed to start the game, Please try again later.[code=2]" Any ideas? Is there some kind of maintenance that I am unaware of? I don't think it's that as I would probably get to at least the login screen if that were to be. Currently attempting redownloading everything and starting entirely from scratch, though I don't believe that will aid the issue. Think I've found the solution, though keeping this post in-tact in case I am incorrect. |

I don't know why everyone has so many problems with this game, when i set it up everything ran perfectly fine.. OK, first of all, you do not need to run Apolocale Alaf. That is totally oldschool and what people used to use before the english transaltion patch, no one uses it now( English Patch - http://mnlust.net/downloads/Ro2Trans-Public.7z). Second, make sure you have enough space on your computer. One time i received an error that wouldn't let me log into the game. Even though my computer had more than enough space, for some reason i deleted an unnessary program and walla the game all of a sudden started working. If that doesn't help, the last resort for fixing this is, if you haven't already done the Full File Check, is to do a Full File Download again. If the problem proceeds, I don't really know what else I can say except sorry, out of luck! Lol |

| Kich867 Posts count: 25 | Aye, running a full file download again just to be sure, I felt mighty stupid when I recalled that google exists! "GOOGLE! DO YOU USE IT?!" In this case, no, I didn't, but I did now! I promptly found the answer! (Hopefully haha) Ugh, so yeah, that was almost definitely the problem. Certainly can't play a game you know, without having the .exe right? AVG must have deleted it, I'll have to turn that off...I ran the filecheck and see "ragII.exe" being downloaded and thought, "Well that certainly would help with playing!" Although, even after 4 full file-checks, I find myself unable to even initiate the game, I get the same message except it's code 5 now. Doing a full-file download to see if that works, if not, total reinstall and hope that works haha. |
