| Osiris Posts count: 3 | Yesterday after installing the game, I launched the client and started the what seemed like 5-6 hour patching process. It finally reached 100% and I went to launch the game, and I get the following error box. I went and translated the text and found out it roughly meant "Failed a game execution.! After short time attempt again. [code=2]" Has anyone else ran into this error and managed to resolve the problem? The information on the Korean RO2 website's FAQ made me even more confused. Thanks ._. |

try running the game .exe directly from the ragII root folder. some error code= /conflict/ shortcuts. there are other possible causes too but try that first. |

version1 setup 1.1G torrent mostly recommended. the torrent link from this site is ok. version2 setup 1.3G with hackshield had some conflicts, specially with vista as said by some users in ragnatale. |

why is code error=2 your problem? it says Failed Game execution so it must be with the shortcuts. are you using vista? most koreans use vista but they can fix and modify what is needed to run the game because they also have forums. too bad i can't browse their forums because its not english. |

While I'm sure that the box said something important, my computer is unable to display the correct characters, so I have no idea what it said. I read this thread and went and tried to open the program for its original folder but I got the same error message. Any advise? Is there some trick or other download i need? |

if character letters are the problem then you probably did'nt install the required language pack. follow this guide for proper language installation. https://ragnarok-online-2.com/forum/guide-installing-the-korean-language-packages-on-windows-xp-t2624 |
